What does imagery tell us about the history of our cultural condition? How does the constant cycle of consumption and waste define what or who we are as individuals? These are some of the questions CoachTV, an enterprise created by artists Raishad Glover and Emily Eastridge, investigate in their exhibition The Buffet Allusion at Howard Yezerski Gallery, September 6 - October 10, 2006.

As they question the essence of consumption, entertainment, and beauty Glover and Eastridge create a buffet of visual inquiries that challenge the viewer to engage in this dialog. By using a combination of performance, video, photography, and painting in their installation Glover and Eastridge ask more questions than they answer but they hopefully get us all to think about where we are headed as a culture/society.

Glover and Eastridge have been collaborating since 2004. In that time the have performed and exhibited their work in a number of venues among which are: Massachusetts College of Art, Boston MA. GASP Gallery Brookline MA., The Midway Theater, Boston, MA., and the 2006 Armory Show NYC.
